Since House of Compulsion is a luxury leatherwear brand, all our items are hand made based on the client’s measurements. As a result, please expect a 2 – 4 week processing time. After an order is completed and dispatched (you will receive a confirmation email), orders will be delivered in 48 hours, sometimes longer if delivering to a remote area. Shipping costs are available in the cart & checkout area.
CAN AN ORDER BE SHIPPED FASTER?
If you want an item for a special occasion & would like to expedite the order, we have an express processing option at the checkout that takes at most 3 working days to be processed & shipped out.
WHERE IS MY TRACKING CODE?
After your order has been marked as completed, you will receive an email from firstname.lastname@example.org with info regarding the delivery and your unique tracking code.
You might also get a tracking code e-mail and SMS automatically sent ot by the shipping company — DHL — as well.
If you are missing a tracking code when we send out the confirmation e-mal, please let us now by contacting us.
CAN I CHOOSE A CERTAIN DAY FOR MY DELIVERY?
Your order will be sent out of the studio as soon as we finish producing it. If any situation arises with your schedule, or you need to change shipping addresses, please contact us at email@example.com
ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL TAXES?
That depends on your country’s import policy, it is not up to us. Usually customs taxes are required when receiving an order from another continent or from outside the EU (if you are based in EU). If you are not based within the EU and receive orders from us (as we are in the EU), taxes might again be applicable. It is best to get in touch with your local administration to determine whether or not taxes will be applicable.
These possible additional taxes are out of our control and will be supported by the customer.
ATTENTION CUSTOMERS BASED IN THE UK
Since the UK left the EU in January 202, customers in the UK have to pay import duties for goods and services bought from the EU.
The possibility of import fees or taxes is stated all throughout our checkout process and site (both in the cart and checkout area) and by placing an order and accepting the terms and conditions you are agreeing that you are responsible to pay said taxes.
If you refuse to pay the taxes and the parcel it is returned to us, you will be refunded the item’s value less the shipping and return charges we get charged by DHL for an unfinished delivery.
RETURNS, REFUNDS, EXCHANGES
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
Shipping costs for returns are complimentary for Romanian customers.
For International purchases the return must be supported by the customer.
We accept returns and exchanges within 14 days of delivery confirmation. The customer is responsible for additional shipping costs, unless eligible for a free return. Return requests received later the above time frame are not to be accepted. You must notify us by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to return products.
https://houseofcompulsion.com will only accept returns of non-faulty items that are in their original condition, have not been worn, altered or washed, with all tags attached. If you receive any order without tags please notify us immediately if you wish to return the item. We strongly advise all customers to check garments thoroughly upon delivery, before removing any attached tags and before disposing of any original packaging. The items that have been exchanged can only be dispatched after the returned goods have been received and undergone a quality control check. The customer is responsible for additional shipping costs. If a refund is required, a time frame of 14 days should be calculated for the receipt of your returned merchandise and the return/refund process.
The refund time frame depends on the credit card used. Please note that the refund will only be issued to the credit card used for the order, if the payment was made in cash we will need a bank account number and the account holder name.
DO YOU HAVE AN EXCHANGE POLICY?
House of Compulsion can exchange your item with a different size/colour or with another item of the same price.
First you will have to send us the item and once we receive it we will start producing your replacement item.
Just like with returns, postage and shipping costs will be supported by the customer.
HOW DOES THE REFUND WORK?
After the item that has to be refunded has reached us, we will refund the price you paid for the item, without the shipping fee. In order for an item to be eligible for refunding it has to still have its original tags, show no signs of wear & tear (stains, smells, rips). The return must include the slip dress (if received) with tags intact and any other complimentary clothing items adjacent to the item you are returning. It doesn’t have to come in its original packaging though – the note & stickers are for you.
Just make sure it is packaged safely so it doesn’t get damaged on its way back to us.
HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO RETURN AN ITEM?
After an order has been delivered, you have 14 days to get in touch with us and request a return and refund or an exchange.
Once we confirm your return/exchange request, you have a 5 days period to ship the product back to us and give us the tracking code via e-mail. Please note that if you do not ship your item during these 5 days, you will forfeit your return and refund / exchange.
CAN CUSTOM ORDERS BE RETURNED?
All our items that are made to measure are eligible for returns and exchanges. We will follow up with every customer’s order to make sure that you correctly take your measurements and that your item will fit you like a glove.
But please note that orders that are a custom design (i.e. it is not a product that can be bought in the shop, but a completely custom design made especially for you) are non refundable and nonreturnable.
